It is now possible to put factory welded loops on all
MONIC Fly Lines. This simple procedure can be done even on the river
if need be. |

What's Needed.....
You will need a lighter, your MONIC Fly Line, and
MONIC Welding Shrink Tubing. |
|
|

|

|

First Step....
Thread fly line all the way through welding
shrink tubing. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Second Step....
Feed fly line back into tubing, forming
loop. Size according to preference. |

|
|
|

|
Third Step....
With fly line under tension (this is a key
point), hold loop and begin to melt tubing and fly line with the
blue part of the flame. When melting keep flame moving at all times.
Start on one side of line and then go back over on the other side
of the line. Please note that too much heat will completely melt
fly line and ruin it. You want to aply just enough heat to shrink
tubing. |

Finished....
Allow to cool and loop onto backing or leader.
